If you ask any early childhood teacher and they’ll tell you (actually it’s a fact that they’ll likely launch into an emotional speech!) about the positive effects of playing on children’s development. Play is so crucial to the development of a child that it’s even acknowledged as an individual fundamental right of the United Nations. It is a lot of toys options for children that it can be overwhelming for parents to choose what’s worth spending money on and let’s face it parents don’t want to buy toys and see them sitting on the shelves or in a hamper day in and day out. This is one of the great things with open-ended toys. They can be used as more than only a single play, but they can be employed in many different ways across all categories of age, with game becoming more complex and more complex as children growth and maturity increases.
